Care Net of Chilton County, Inc. is a Christ-Centered ministry committed to upholding the sanctity of human life to women facing unplanned pregnancies, as well as, empowering fathers, and instilling confidence in the family structure by demonstrating the love of Christ through the provision of spiritual, physical, and emotional support and by the proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Prenatal Support

We offer free and confidential pregnancy tests to women facing crisis pregnancies.

Population(s) Served

We offer several free parenting classes:
Pregnancy classes- This is an 8 week course that clients come to learn about their bodies & pregnancy and how to care for baby up until one years old. At the completion of this class the client earns a free car seat.

Boundaries- This is a parenting class explaining the importance of putting boundaries in place for children and how that effects them to become successful adults.

Parent University- A 13 week course that explains the 40 assets that Search Institute found that kids need in order to become successful adults. During this class participants take a look at their up bringing and what was missing and look at each asset to determine what they want to implement into their family. At the end of this course there is a graduation ceremony.

Parenting 2.0: This course addresses potty training, routine/schedule for children, nutrition, the importance of reading to your child and many other topics that benefit toddlers and young children.

A 6 week study designed for dads to know their importance. A study designed around Biblical principles in order to provide men the tools needed to become character builders, home builders and Kingdom builders. Upon completion of the program, each participant will receive their own set of tools.

Together, we can provide a safe housing residence and care for vulnerable expectant mothers who desire to prepare for independent living. Selahs Oasis will provide a loving and nurturing environment to meet the physical, spiritual, emotional and educational needs of each mother and child.
