What we aim to solve

One of the main problems we, as well as other rescue organizations, face is a lack of fosters for the number of dogs looking to come into our rescue.

Our main goal is saving the lives of and finding homes for Rottweilers throughout fourteen southern states of the U.S., including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia.

We have a social media strategy which we use to obtain new fosters as well as donations for dogs coming into our rescue. We also do various fun fundraisers throughout the year to obtain funds which go towards the medical care of our Rottweilers. We also utilize our website as well as other pet adoption websites and social media to promote our dogs available for adoption.

We have been very capable of meeting our goals of obtaining new fosters as well as funds that go towards the care and medical expenses of our rescued Rottweilers. Finding new homes and families for our rescued Rottweilers is our ultimate goal which we have become very good at over the years.

We closely monitor our financial position through our Treasurer and Director of Fundraising. We are also constantly looking for and obtaining new fosters to stay at our goal of fosters that we feel we need in order to save as many Rottweilers as possible. We have a foster team which includes a Director of Foster Care as well as Foster Coordinators assigned to the states that we cover. We have a team of Adoption Coordinators, led by our Lead Adoption Coordinator and Director of Adoptions. This team processes applications to ensure potential applicants meet our guidelines for adopting.

In 2019 we took a total of 65 Rottweilers in to our rescue. A few of them had very high medical expenses. We met our challenge of raising funds through various fundraisers throughout the year, including our yearly Spring Auction, Christmas Auction, T-Shirt and Calendar fundraisers. We plan on taking in at least another 60- 80 Rottweilers in 2020 as ours get adopted to their forever families. We found homes for 59 of our rescued Rottweilers in 2019.
