Our mission is to engage with the community to encourage responsible pet care, including the benefits of spay and neuter to reduce overpopulation; reunite lost animals with their owners and provide humane care while seeking loving, compatible forever homes for animals under our guardianship.

Low Cost Spay and Neuter (LISN)

The Low Income Spay and neuter (LISN) Program is available for residents of Polk County who earn less than $35,000 in their household, who want to have their pet spayed or neutered at a reduced fee. Vouchers are sold on-site for $25 to eligible participants and covers the full spay or neuter costs for their pet within our network of partner veterinarians.

The TNR or Fix a Feral program is designed to trap feral cats in colonies in Polk County, spay or neuter them and return them to their colony to reduce the number of feral cats in the County.
