Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

As increasing numbers of families struggle with poverty and homelessness, Green Doors holds fast to our vision that one day all Central Texas families and individuals will have the opportunity to live in affordable, safe, quality housing. We are committed to substantially increasing neighborhood wellness in historically blighted areas of Austin and ensuring that all members of the community are valued and treated with human dignity. To guide everything we do, Green Doors’ Board of Directors and staff have developed a three-year strategic plan with the following goals and objectives:

Goal #1: Increasing access to safe, high-quality, affordable housing that meets the needs of Austin’s most vulnerable residents.

Goal #2: Increasing access to supportive services by providing Green Doors households with the tools to positively influence their housing stability.

Goal #3: Educate and advocate for individuals and families struggling with homelessness and at-risk of homelessness
