Notes from the nonprofit

The Cedar Hill Historical Society, DBA Cedar Hill Museum of History, is proud of our partnership with the City of Cedar Hill in the new Traphene P. Hickman Public Library, Museum and Signature Park, that opened April 27, 2024. The collaboration is the result of many years of planning and support from the city, the museum, and the community at large. We could not be more proud of this innovative, landmark facility.

Cedar Hill Historic Walking Tour

The Cedar Hill Historic Walking Tour is a 2.2 mile self-guided trail that features over 30 historic sites around the original Old Town Square, among which are four (4) Recorded Texas Historic Landmarks, five (5) properties listed on the National Register of Historic Places, and two (2) Historic Texas Cemeteries.
