SERVANTS OF CHRIST INTERNATIONAL INC
Serving People, Sending Hope
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Our core mission is to provide administrative processing of support funds for independent contractor-type missionary workers; also to assist believers in giving financial support to church construction, child care, education, and water ministry operations around the world. Our current challenge is that we are growing rapidly by "word of mouth," not seeking more work but having it come to us. Also we are working hard to learn how to use a Chinese-made water well drill that is portable (on the back of a truck) that we hope to use to drill low cost hand-pumped water wells for villages, churches, etc. If we can accomplish a breakthrough with this new system, better than our home-made drills, then we can replicate this system in many locations.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
missionary administration
we process and handle all accounting matters for (currently) 46 different people doing missionary work, either part time or full time. the "budget" figure is the aggregate contributions raised by and used for these people.
church construction
We provide funding for the construction of small chapel buildings (usually without electricity or plumbing) in far countries where a local church (known to us) has no facility at all.
water well drills
We connect and assist with drilling water wells using a low-cost, portable drill built by volunteers in the USA.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
In missionary administration: our goal is to see:
50 missionaries active with our ministry (currently at 60).
We have some workers we will "launch" as their own 501c3s.
In church construction, our goal is to:
fund and build 100 churches (we are currently at 97)
In water well drilling ministry, our goal is to see:
25 drills delivered (we are currently at 1 with 4 underway)
One of our workers is seeking funds for a boys home in Kenya, for street boys.
Another is seeking funds for multiple church repair and constructii in Haiti --
still repairing churches damaged by hurricane in 2016.
We partner with LUCENT University, on line bible school; they have many growth pain needs.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
For missionary administration, we are relying solely on God to send us the people we are to serve. "word of mouth" seems to be working; we do not seek new missionary clients, rather they find us.
Our Executive Director is working with individual donors, churches and foundations, seeking more partners to fund church construction.
For water well drills, we are purchasing a truck to port around our new Chinese made drill, which we believe is the answer.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We have more than tripled in size, scope, and financial strength in the lastfive years.
Since Jim Walters retired from pastoring the Bear Valley Church in Lakewood, CO, he has been able to devote much more time to this ministry.
We know a great number of people, both missionaries, and nationals, in many locations around the world. More and more churches are contacting us for construction help - more than we can fund. However, it is our belief (and experience to date) that once we prepare a project (on paper), God sends the funding to make it happen.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Our board recently spent a lot of time re-structuring for growth; we will adding board members. Also we've upgraded our documentation process for all funds that are transferred outside the USA, to comply with IRS and US government rules.
Still to come: we need to make contact with and learn how to work with foundations that offer grants to ministries doing the things that we do.
We also must make contact with many more churches and help them engage in some of these projects - whether collecting Bibles, funds for guitars, party dresses (for our work in Guatemala) or funds for church construction, we believe we can offer any size church an opportunity for direct mission impact, with or without travelling.
