Mission
Soveya serves the urgent need to address the childhood obesity epidemic in the Jewish community. The primary goal of Soveya is to educate and motivate students to change attitudes and behaviors regarding excessive and unhealthy eating. Soveya provides innovative nutrition education programs in the Baltimore area. Our mission is to reduce the growing rate of childhood obesity in the Jewish community and to help children understand the pleasure and importance of appropriate eating before they develop unhealthy behaviors with food.
