Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Innovative Services, Inc.'s organizational goals focus on enhancing the services provided and addressing the caregiver crisis. Specific areas of focus include:
1. Improve Employee Onboarding and Retention
2. Increase Total Compensation and Benefits
3. Enhance Service/Programming and Develop New Business
4. Ensure Financial Sustainability
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
Different strategies are planned for each goal, although some strategies will impact multiple goals.
1. Improve Employee Onboarding and Retention
The organization will allocate resources to improve the onboarding process for new hires to ensure employees have a personalized approach to ensure success. This strategy involves reworking the onboarding process from start to finish to make small changes in various areas to increase effectiveness.
Another significant strategy that will impact this goal is the implementation of a Human Resources Information System (HRIS). This will provide significant enhancements to the virtual onboarding process. It will also be valuable for existing employees to reduce workload and burden in navigating their employment.
2. Increase Total Compensation and Benefits
The HRIS strategy will impact this goal as well by providing visibility to employees regarding total compensation as well as enhancing their understanding of benefits.
Additionally the organization has committed in its budget additional dollars to invest into employee benefits and is committed to conducting routine market analysis of wages.
3. Enhance Service/Programming and Develop New Business
The organization added an Operations Support and Compliance Manager and an Operational Process Manager in early 2023. Both these roles work in conjunction to facilitate enhancements to services.
Another strategy is the development of an Activities Director role and program. This project is pending grant funding.
Finally, growth in areas will be done through expansion into new service areas and maximizing capacity in current programming.
4. Ensure Financial Sustainability
Tactics include development of a 2023 budget and routine reviews with each service type regarding performance.
Grant dollars are being actively pursued to expand revenue streams to support additional initiatives.
