Crisis Home for Young Moms

When a local judge contacted our Non-Profit Charitable Organization, due to the type of work we are committed to, and the 15 year old pregnant teen who needed temporary housing immediately, or face being sent to a Texas Youth Correction facility, we were forced to turn her and her unborn baby away. This prompted our mission, and fueled our passion.
To date, we have been able to nearly pay off the whole property, and are on track to do within four years. The money raised will be solely used to expedite complete renovation repairs that will allow us to take in up to 2 more young moms with up to 4 more children.
We have completed the new roof, foundation repairs and are currently re-doing and repairing restrooms, kitchen, flooring, interior/exterior paint. Replacing of weather rotted siding and wood. Installed new central Heating & Cooling System, refinish solar glass enclosures on 2 breakfast rooms. Repair and renovate separate living quarters in guest house; flooring throughout, kitchen counters, appliances, etc. Damaged crosswalk/breezeway that attaches to the second floor guest house, in need of finishing wood replacement, to secure. This is hurricane storm damage not covered by insurance.
For over twenty years, we have continued to provide housing, shelter, food & clothing to individual young people, whole families, single mothers of teens, runaways, and throwaways. We have never swerved in our desire to make ourselves helpful, when possible.
Aside from monetary donations, we are able to also accept donations in the form of materials that can be used to complete these details. Materials such as paint, lumber, appliances, counter tops, landscape materials and services, playground equipment, etc. We are in need of land for expansion and a van to transport children with more ease.
We are grateful for the opportunity to share our dream, and hope you will join forces with us to see this come to pass. Currently, this home serves to provide a home for two young moms in crisis, aged 18 and 25, with four small children aged 5 months to 10 years.
Thank you for considering our home as a place where you can help make a HUGE difference. As soon as this project is complete it will house house-parents to oversee the continuation of the program. Thank you,
