THE SOCIETY HOLDS AN ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE FOR PROFESSIONALS IN THE FIELD TO EXCHANGE IDEAS AND DISCUSS NEW TREATMENTS/TECHNOLOGY WITH THE GOAL OF PROGRESSING THE FIELD OF PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY. THESE MEETINGS INCLUDE TRAINING COURSES, SESSIONS, DEBATES, POSTERS, AND EXHIBITS TO FACILITATE THE ACQUISITION AND DISSEMINATION OF KNOWLEDGE IN PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY. IN 2022, THE MEETING WAS HELD IN MONTREAL, CANADA AND PARTICIPATION INCLUDED APPROXIMATELY 556 PERSONS FROM 40 COUNTRIES.

THE SOCIETY SERVES ITS MEMBERS FROM ALL OVER THE WORLD BY OFFERING ONLINE RESOURCES, AN ONLINE SUBSCRIPTION TO THE SOCIETYS JOURNAL, PRENATAL DIAGNOSIS, AND OPTIONAL MEMBERSHIPS IN A VARIETY OF SPECIAL INTEREST GROUPS (SIGS). THE SOCIETY, THROUGH ITS SIG AND COMMITTEE ACTIVITIES, FOSTERS EDUCATION AND KNOWLEDGE OF ADVANCES IN TECHNIQUES AND SERVICES. THE SOCIETY HAS OVER 689 MEMBERS FROM 61 COUNTRIES. IN ADDITION, THE SOCIETY MAINTAINS A FUND THAT SUPPORTS EDUCATION WHERE IT IS NOT OTHERWISE AVAILABLE AND TO RECOGNIZE THOSE WHO SERVE THE HEALTHCARE NEEDS OF MOTHERS, CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES.
