What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

J316 Chaplaincy at IMG Academy

“Encouraging and training student athletes, coaches and staff to live out their Faith through the platform of sports.”J316 Ministries serves on the campus at IMG Academy as a volunteer chaplaincy program for student athletes, as well to coaches and staff. There are over 2000 students and staff from 80 different countries represented on campus. Through this opportunity we have the chance to impact athletes, as well as their coaches and staff, both while they are on IMG campus and after they move on to their Collegiate or Professional careers. Our passion is to see them make God first in their lives and in their sport, and to take an open stand for Christ on whatever platform He gives them!We spend time building relationships with student athletes on and off the field, as well as offering them a “Faith Night” on campus once a week as well as a "Faith Time" once a month for coaches and staff. We also offer opportunities to for students and staff to volunteer with us in the community, modeling and teaching them how to use their sport to reach others with “The Greatest Story Ever Told”, John 3:16.
