ON AN ANNUAL BASIS, HOUSE FOR HOPE, INC. BUILDS A RESIDENCE IN THE SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER AREA AND SELLS $100 RAFFLE TICKETS WITH THE HOUSE AS THE GRAND PRIZE. THERE ARE ADDITIONAL PRIZES GIVEN AWAY AS WELL. THE PROFITS FROM THE EVENT ARE DONATED TO LOCAL CHARITIES. THE HOME BUILDERS ASSOCIATION OF NORTHWEST LOUISIANA SOLICITS DONATIONS AND FACILITATES THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HOUSE. IN 2019, THE RAFFLE ENTAILED A GRAND PRIZE DRAWING OF A KITCHEN MAKEOVER, VALUED AT $12,000. ADDITIONAL PRIZES WERE JEWELRY GIFT CARD $1,000, TV VALUED AT $1,000 AND VISA GIFT CARD $500.
