Leadership Development; Character Building oYouth Basketball Tournament: Takes place on last day of youth camp and serves as an
opportunity to raise awareness, and reaffirm the abilities and successes of the
youth participants.·Open Basketball Gyms on Fridays and weekends,
available to at-risk youth at Antioch Sports Complex, giving MTC coaches the
opportunity to maintain their relationships with these youth, track their
progress and follow-up on personal development started in camps. ·Two-Day ‘Beyond  A Game’ Basketball Tournaments – June
29-30, July 20-21– Antioch Sports Complex. Conducted for 18-26 year old youth during
June and July, 2013, to (1) raise funds and (2) recruit coaches and mentors for
MTC Youth Camps.·Virtual MTC Coach-Mentor Network - Social
media networking program and a learning resource center on the Web that will
maintain connections between individual MTC youth camp participants and their
mentor-coaches; link youth to community support service providers; and
recognize participant achievements.
