Social Presence
In addition to the social technologies that appear on our website, we are present on a variety of social networks. Our social presence allows us to not only present content relevant to our audiences but also to engage with the people around their own posts, “shares,” and “likes.” We use the following social networks and platforms:

Events that combine online and offline experiences
People who use digital technology find that their online experiences and their offline experiences enrich one another. Thus there can be great benefit in having events that include both! At A Nun’s Life Ministry we craft events that speak to the wholeness of experience, even when digital devices and the Internet are involved. This is truly “a network not of wires but of people,” to quote Pope Francis!
• Motherhouse Road Trip: For the road trip series, we take our podcasting field studio to motherhouses across the country so that the online community can meet all kinds of Catholic sisters and nuns. Using a combination of social media, a livestreaming broadcast, and live chat, we bring the online world into motherhouses to meet sisters and experience them in their own context through videos, photos, and interviews.
• Live-Tweeting: We often use Twitter to live-tweet during events in Catholic and popular culture that relate to God, faith, or religious life. We live-tweet during events such as prime-time television shows featuring sisters or nuns.
• Webinars: A Nun’s Life works with sisters from a variety of congregations to provide webinars to the online community on topics such as prayer, discernment, and vocation. The webinars are produced live and enable participants to interact with each other and the sister-presenters.
Professional services for online ministry
We provide professional services to help Catholic sisters and nuns navigate the online world and connect with people who are discerning their calling. We offer consultation and training for religious communities in a variety of areas.
