Mission

Our mission is to create entertaining content that makes the world a better place. We are seasoned entertainment professionals using our experience to help other non-profits share their stories with the world.

With the way we consume our entertainment content changing, Hollywood is moving away from the traditional advertising model and moving back to a sponsorship model.
What you see on television, film and the web is often underwritten by major corporations, like Coca-Cola or Microsoft, and in return their products and ideas are integrated into the content as a whole. These corporations profit the same way they did during the traditional advertising age but they now have the opportunity to brand the entirety of the content. We are seeing this in print, on the web and in our living rooms and local theaters. We use this same model, but instead of major corporations benefiting, we are look to those companies making contributions to the world as our underwriters. Where there is “brought to you by Microsoft," we'd like to see “brought to you by The American Red Cross."

The idea here is to use the model of branded content to partner with other non-profits, create content that aligns with their mission and then sell that content in traditional Hollywood venues. Then, when that content profits, not only does Allegory profit, but the non-profit we've partnered with profits as well, creating a direct line of fundraising while simultaneously creating awareness for that non-profit through media exposure. We work with nonprofits through traditional media, as well as non-traditional media (you tube, podcasts, etc.). Entertainment creation is what Hollywood does best, why not use what we're doing already to help the organizations who need it? Wouldn't you be more inclined to watch “ER," if you knew it was supporting Doctors Without
Borders?

Because we are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we have have access to different funding methods than most production companies do. We work on a project to project basis and have very little overhead - which means that nearly all of our funding goes directly into our projects and services.

The Human Kind Podcast

Considering the evidence of racial disharmony that still stands in this country, The Human Kind Podcast is a 12-part podcast series hoping to shine an intelligent, peaceful, informative light on race relations throughout the country.
We record at the iconic Delicious Vinyl Radio studio in the heart of LA. This is a grassroots, informational piece that pairs various members of the community including rap artists, political refugees, race relations specialists and stay-at-home moms discussing race per their own experiences and opinions. The goal of the podcast is to raise awareness about all races and perspectives in the hopes that accurate information and understanding will replace hate and violence against all humanity. The podcast is available now on iTunes and at HumanKindPodcast.com

The Global Village Project is a school in Decatur, Georgia dedicated to ensuring that refugee girls who have had interrupted schooling or no schooling at all are prepared to enter high school or equivalency programs. Allegory is creating an ongoing series at the school where the stories of these girls in their own words will be recorded, animated and released as 2-5 minute viral videos online with a call to action for donations going back to the school. We’ve procured a broad list of artists to help us draw these girls lives, ranging from fine artists to famous comic book artists, street artists and multi-media artists. The plan is to loop in each artist's own fan base for maximum distribution. We are also working with Kennesaw State University to provide student interns to enable the girls to find the story they want to tell and use the English they’ve learned to tell it.
We want these young ladies to exercise their agency in the world by being able to tell their own stories and to show them that the arts can take their words to millions of people they never thought would listen to them. Our release date is Fall of 2017.
