What we aim to solve
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
San Diego Underground Film Festival
The San Diego Underground Film Festival (SDUFF) is an artist-run non-profit organization that promotes the experimentation in film & video. Our festival seeks to offer the San Diego community a nurturing alternative to commercial film and the Hollywood machine that currently dominates the existing festival landscape in all of Southern California.
Our annual festival takes place the third weekend of August at the Tenth Avenue Arts Center in downtown San Diego. Over the weekend, we will be screening a selection of short and features films complimented by live music and expanded cinema performances.
Our festival is a fundraising event where the proceeds will be used to expand our organization to include a monthly screening and workshop series that will offer classes and screen films that have never been shown in San Diego. We are looking to create a series that focuses on films by women of color and a printing on 16mm workshop to name a few.
TEROS X SDUFF Monthly Screening Series
A monthly screening series of short films curates around various themes held outdoors at the Teros Gallery in San Diego, CA. Admission is free to the public, but donations are encouraged.
