Program 1

EDUCATION - Jumpah.org partially funded the operational expenses including teacher and administrative support salaries and training, school supplies, and facility maintenance of the Jumpah School in Cambodia that provides a high quality and loving education to children from nine neighboring rural villages based on Christian principals. The Jumpah School is a Cambodian government accredited private school offering classes pre-school through sixth grade to children that otherwise have little opportunity to receive even a basic education. The enrollment totaled from about 430 to 480 students in 2023 with a staff numbering about 30. One major development project which began October of 2022 and completed in 2023, was the construction of a new 12 room classroom building to expand capacity and replace several old single room structures. WOOD SHOP & FARM - Jumpah.org also provided funds to develop the vocational training & employment for several local villagers at the wood shop. They are learning woodworking skills making crafts and furniture. for sale to local retailers and commercial facilities. Jumpah also funded the expansion of a model farm that demonstrates economical methods including hydroponics to successfully raise a variety of vegetable crops to supplement their single crop of rice as well provide cash income. Several new hoop houses for the plantings were added to the farm. The farm employed 8 local residents.
