In 2018 Lapaau Community Acupuncture provided 1,917 treatments to individuals providing relief from pain, discomfort, stress, isolation, and financial burdens of acute and chronic illnesses.

Program 2

In 2019, Lapa'au Community Acupuncture gave 2,527 treatments which is a greater than 32% growth over 2018. We've also entered into a partnership with another local non-profit, Malama I Ke Ola Health Center, in their efforts to improve the health and well-being of underserved low income community members who would not otherwise be able to access and afford acupuncture.

In 2020 Lapa'au Community Acupuncture gave approximately 3,000 treatments to our community, which was an increase from 2019 in the face of a pandemic when we were closed for two months of 2020. The added expenses of setting up according to CDC guidelines took it's toll.
