Monster Bash Incorporated

Different Every Year! Supporting Music, Theater and the Arts

Mission

TO SUPPORT THE ART, THEATRE AND MUSIC DEPARTMENTS AT FILLMORE CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL.

Notes from the nonprofit

The efforts of Monster Bash and the Haunted Houses that have been built to support Music, Theater and Arts programs for Fillmore Central Schools have taken place since 2012 when the organization was informally run and organized. Since formally incorporating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 2016, the organization has enjoyed some wonderful successes: awards, some great feedback from our guests, and most importantly the fact that - including the 2012-2016 years before incorporating - Monster Bash has been able to give back about $135,000 to the Fillmore Central Fine Arts programs. Those dollars have helped offset Band & Choir trip expenses (allowing some students to go on the trips that otherwise may have not been able to afford the costs), and provided funding for equipment and supplies for the Theater and Arts departments and their efforts at Fillmore Central Schools. We look forward to continuing what has become a wonderful annual tradition of scaring visitors for a great cause!

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Monster Bash Haunted Houses

The Haunted Houses that the organization runs every October is staffed by students of Fillmore Central Public Schools, along with their parents and other local volunteers. The Haunted House charges admission and also sells basic concessions and t-shirts for income. That income is then used to help offset the expenses for the students' biennial band & choir trips, support the Fillmore Central Art and Theater Departments, and for Haunted House updates.
