Mission

Friends of Cape Wildlife (FCW) is comprised of citizens working to provide support, compassionate medical care and innovative rehabilitation to sick, injured and orphaned birds, mammals and reptiles on Cape Cod. We seek to enable rehabilitators to be self sustaining and have the support they need to rehabilitate and return wildlife, healthy and whole, back to native habitats. We offer education to the general public by providing non-lethal solutions when addressing conflicts between people and wildlife and to encourage humane coexistence thru advocacy with our wild neighbors in an ever diminishing environment.

Incubators for Wildlife Babies

Orphaned wildlife that are brought to rehabilitators for care desperately need incubators to ensure their survival and to be able to be returned healthy and whole, back to their native habitats.

Friends of Cape Wildlife, a 501 (c) 3 charity, is looking to fund the purchase of two incubators for home wildlife rehabilitators on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.

These intensive care units provide lifesaving warmth and moisture so vital for survival of orphaned and injured animals.

Dedicated rehabilitators work 24/7 around the clock to save these orphaned infants that mostly arrive in the spring en mass. Time is of the essence.

Wildlife rehabilitators receive no financial compensation from municipalities or others. Their work to save animals is completely a labor of love for these animals that are desperate for a chance at life. Orphaned infants are too young and frail to survive on their own and without help, they would surely perish.

The Brinsea incubators will significantly decrease the mortality rate and enable rehabilitators to save many more infants at much younger ages.

Please be a wildlife hero and help us to help them. Lives depend on it.
