Mission

To advocate for rabbits as companion animals, educate rabbit owners, and aid area shelters by offering instructional materials, consultations, and educational events.

We also aid area shelters with fostering needs, socializing rabbits, and extending volunteer support for rabbit programs. We believe that, with increased education, the number of unwanted rabbits in shelters will lessen as owners learn more about how to care for and bond with their rabbits.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Spay/Neuter Wellness Program for Rabbits

Our program enables owners to better afford the cost of a surgery that requires a rabbit-savvy veterinarian, by receiving a credit voucher that helps offset a portion of the expense of getting their companion rabbit altered. Having a rabbit spayed or neutered is a crucial part of ensuring that a bunny has a long and happy life, not only to prevent unwanted kits, but to significantly decrease the risk of a rabbit developing reproductive cancers.
