Five powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?

United Way Galveston County Mainland fights for the health, education and financial stability of every person in our communities.

United Way Galveston County Mainland will be a leader in our community by facilitating, promoting, and ensuring the availability of services that meet the needs of our community. We do this by assessing the needs of our communities, raising funds and investing in programs, mobilizing partners to take action and measuring results.

Our work is fueled by the passion of local volunteers and donors who give their time, their money and their voice to improve the lives of others. Every day, our volunteers, donors and advocates are making a lasting difference in so many ways. That can mean helping a child learn to read, donating money to make sure people have access to quality medical care, speaking out in support of policies that provide training for in-demand jobs and so much more.

We measure our success in lives changed. These stories are a testament to the difference that communities can make when we come together to create lasting change.

Strengthening Galveston County takes time, commitment and resources. Change requires tough choices to be made. Because of the generosity of our volunteers and donors, we have seen critical changes start to take place every day. United Way Galveston County Mainland is truly transforming the lives of residents in our communities.
