What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

Rates of disconnected youth and young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not in school or working—are highest among Black, Latino, and American Indian/Native American youth. Disconnection can lead to negative outcomes: more significant risk of economic instability, mental health and substance use problems, and criminal justice involvement. Factors found to associate with disconnected youth. Our program begins the process of breaking the cycle of disconnection, by connecting participants with the skill, knowledge, and desire to change personality traits, lack of ambition, and drive in becoming an outstanding member of society. Providing a safe space for individuals to grow and tap into their internal skills that will last them a lifetime.
