Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Our goal is to ensure children in our community are learning the game in a very safe environment. Along with that goal we also need to ensure that we are doing everything posible to lower the cost of playing the sport to families. Last we also like to sea an increase in number of youth females participating in the sport.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
To ensure children are learning the sport properly we develop the Instructional Spring / Summer program. This program is guided towards teaching the sport, conditioning, spending double the time in FUNdamentals and Heads Up football teachings and executing what was learned. This program will be followed by other programs that focus on developing advance football skills. To lower the cost of the sport, we structure our budget so that all grants and donations affect directly the registration cost. We also plan on fundraising a year in advance for each program and setting target goals for registration. Last, to increase female participation, we are actively working with youth organization that focus on female like Girls Inc.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Our goals are set as realistic targets. We know that they wont be met overnight, but also know that hard work will get us a little bit closer every time.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
So far, we have made our community aware that there is a better way to teach the sport of Football.

- We ask team members to identify racial disparities in their programs and / or portfolios.
- We analyze disaggregated data and root causes of race disparities that impact the organization's programs, portfolios, and the populations served.
- We disaggregate data by demographics, including race, in every policy and program measured.
- We have long-term strategic plans and measurable goals for creating a culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
- We use a vetting process to identify vendors and partners that share our commitment to race equity.
- We seek individuals from various race backgrounds for board and executive director/CEO positions within our organization.
- We have community representation at the board level, either on the board itself or through a community advisory board.
- We help senior leadership understand how to be inclusive leaders with learning approaches that emphasize reflection, iteration, and adaptability.
- We engage everyone, from the board to staff levels of the organization, in race equity work and ensure that individuals understand their roles in creating culture such that one’s race identity has no influence on how they fare within the organization.
