Mission

The founders of New England Youth Tackle Football Inc. (NEYT), created the league as a place where children of all ages and abilities could learn about the sport of football while having fun. The emphasis is on providing an environment that allows children access to the sport year-round. Central to our mission is to provide more playing time, a learning environment for coaches and lowering the cost of participation in the sport. We are a Non-Profit Organization dedicated to the athletic and mental development of our youth through football. The success of the league is measured by the fun, achievement, sportsmanship and competition that each of us experience as a result of pulling together to develop the children of our community.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Our goal is to ensure children in our community are learning the game in a very safe environment. Along with that goal we also need to ensure that we are doing everything posible to lower the cost of playing the sport to families. Last we also like to sea an increase in number of youth females participating in the sport.

To ensure children are learning the sport properly we develop the Instructional Spring / Summer program. This program is guided towards teaching the sport, conditioning, spending double the time in FUNdamentals and Heads Up football teachings and executing what was learned. This program will be followed by other programs that focus on developing advance football skills. To lower the cost of the sport, we structure our budget so that all grants and donations affect directly the registration cost. We also plan on fundraising a year in advance for each program and setting target goals for registration. Last, to increase female participation, we are actively working with youth organization that focus on female like Girls Inc.

Our goals are set as realistic targets. We know that they wont be met overnight, but also know that hard work will get us a little bit closer every time.

So far, we have made our community aware that there is a better way to teach the sport of Football.
