Mission

In October of 2017, the North Bay region of Sonoma, Napa, Lake, and Mendocino experienced a devastating wildfire that destroyed nearly 9000 homes and 43 lives were lost. Rebuild NorthBay Foundation was born in the midst of this disaster. Rebuild North Bay Foundation is committed to the long-term rebuilding of our region as a more sustainable and resilient community through Advocacy, Coordination, and Economic Development. Our Vision is to rebuild the North Bay better, safer, greener, and faster.

RiseUp Community Impact Grants Program

The RiseUp Community Impact Grants program was created to further our mission in support of the long-term rebuilding of our region as a more sustainable and resilient community. With our primary focus being fire survivors and/or organizations serving the fire affected communities of Napa, Sonoma, Lake, and Mendocino Counties, the program makes grants to fill identified gaps in rebuilding, wildfire prevention and preparedness, and long-term resilience.
