What we aim to solve
We are a very young nonprofit and we are working to fill spots that need to be filled. It is an all volunteer basis, and keeping good help is very difficult.

Peer Support
The Alpha Nerds Peer Support team is here to support members of the ANG community and anyone else who may need it. We are a volunteer staff that is comprised of people from all walks of life. Each of us has a strong love for helping those around us and wants to end all veteran and first responder suicide.
Consoles Connect
Veterans that have a psychological order and cannot afford a video game console is sent to said Veteran to connect to other like minded individuals in order to be connected via gaming!

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
This year we would like to bring on a few paid workers to make sure workflow is increased and more Veterans are able to be helped.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We are working on putting systems in place with sponsors, and appropriate fundraising and adequate people in the positions that could potentially become a paid individual in order to help Veterans and First Responders.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
We are fully capable of meeting our goals, as long as we keep our mission focused and keep in mind that we are trying to help people combat some serious issues.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
We have helped over 30 Veterans and First Responders with video game consoles, including two other supplemental programs that we will be doing annually: Gifts for Geeks; a Christmas toy outreach for our members with children that cannot afford toys for Christmas, and thANGsgiving; where we bought a full meal for our members that couldn't afford a meal for Thanksgiving.
