Scarlet Rope Project
Programs and results
What we aim to solve
The primary need that Scarlet Rope Project addresses is the sex trafficking survivor's lack of resources to heal from long-term trauma and build a new life. The longterm trauma has severely impacted their ability to live a normal life. By providing safe, structured community living, along with EMDR counseling, these survivors learn the tools needed to cope with trauma and build healthy relationships. They learn to cook, clean and do chores while receiving 24 hour care, mentorship, education, Bible Study and counseling. Many recieve help to complete their education, get jobs or visitation rights with their children.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
Scarlet Rope Project has three main goals.
1. Scarlet Rope aims to provide a place of healing for survivors of sex trafficking.
2. Scarlet Rope educates the community and raises awareness about sex trafficking.
3. Scarlet Rope partners with numerous organizations to provide resources to those who are still victims of sex trafficking.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
In order to provide a place of healing for survivors of sex trafficking, Scarlet Rope has trained staff and counselors available 24 hours a day to provide support and guidance. The Scarlet Rope House is a home for these women. In the safety and trust of that home, we see healing take place.
Scarlet Rope also educates the community through social media, speaking engagements and curriculum produced to raise awareness.
Scarlet Rope also works with local churches to provide food at local hotels where sex trafficking is happening. They also work with local domestic abuse organizations, homeless shelters, treatment centers, the TBI and local law enforcement to provide resources for victims.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Scarlet Rope employs numerous trained professionals to provide care including a trained EMDR counselor to provide trauma counseling, trauma informed staff to provide mentorship and care, and a house with utilities, food and necessities. Scarlet Rope has numerous community donors, several fundraisers and grants that allow it to continue to provide these services to these women.
What have they accomplished so far and what's next?
Scarlet Rope Project has seen numerous success stories of survivors who have chosen to stay clean, build relationships and give back to their communities. We see women heal and learn to love and be loved. In the future, we hope to have a new house where we can provide resources to more women.
