What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

We provide information, advice, and hands-on legal assistance to over 1000 chronically ill patients per year nationwide in areas including health and disability insurance, Social Security disability, employment discrimination, family and medical leave, school-based accommodations, and resource location. In addition, we perform systemic advocacy on the federal and state levels, advocating, for example, in favor of the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments of 2008, and seeking to broaden Connecticut's Charter Oak Health Plan.
