Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The goal of Share The Vision is to provide life changing devices to young people who are visually impaired or blind and cannot otherwise afford this technology. This tech is AI assistive smart technology called OrCam. OrCam turns visual information, like text, into audio, aiding this population in accessing the visual world around them. OrCam can help students stay at peer level and also gain employment despite vision challenges. With the use of OrCam, visually impaired and blind youth are more independent in daily life. Share The Vision NJ offers a yearly application for candidates to apply for receiving a device. In sum, OrCam gives a more fair playing field opportunity to youth with limited financial means.

Advertise the yearly application opportunity thru organizations, clubs, agencies and email list serves. Collect candidate applications, and choose from among them to award an individual with an OrCam MyEye Pro.

Since 2018, 14 recipients have received an OrCam MyEye Pro through Share The Vision.
