The Starbird Association is a non-profit independent association promoting public understanding of the need for growth in STEM, aerospace education programming, and workforce development for youth and the roles each plays in the future of our world. To this end we: Educate the public on the continued need for a curious and technically developed workforce Promote STEM and aerospace education in youth leadership and workforce development through our support of the Anoka County Composite Squadron innovative programming Advocate for Minnesota as SpaceNorth, the Midwest hub for the space industry in the United States
