Our doula program will be able to accumulate the database needed within the health field community as most doctors have never heard of this condition. We want to work along side health care providers and birth workers to make sure they take the proper steps in diagnosing and treating mothers who may develop PPCM.

We have created a PPCM screening test that helps determine when a mom needs a BNP blood test for further evaluation of the heart. We have tested this test on 100 of PPCM survivors in the community and have found that women can be sooner diagnosed if doctors are aware of the accurate steps to take.
