Programs and results
What we aim to solve
Spay/Neuter Your Pet (SNYP) provides spay/neuter services to residents and shelters over a 4-county area in southern Oregon and northern California. Having a dedicated spay/neuter clinic allows SNYP to: • Increase the number of animals SNYP can assist annually • Expand their services to neighboring Josephine, Klamath and Siskiyou counties • Grow their community cat services • Introduce new spay/neuter services for specific breeds, such as Pit Bulls and Chihuahuas • Support shelters’ spay/neuter-before-adoption needs in three counties Historically SNYP could facilitate up to 3,000 surgeries per year. The clinic allows us to increase our capacity to 5,000 per year.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
PET CAT AND DOG SPAY/NEUTERS
Affordable spay/neuter services for owned dogs and cats.
SNYP ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
SNYP offers financial assistance for dog and cat spay/neuters to qualifying low-income clients.
COMMUNITY CAT PROGRAM
SNYP works with community cat caregivers to trap-neuter-return feral and stray cats.
VOLUME PARTNER PROGRAM
SNYP supports shelter spay/neuter before adoption by providing timely spay/neuter services to shelters in three counties. Thus reducing the amount of time the shelters need to house an adopted animal, opening up space for more animals to be admitted and speeding up the adoption process.
