Sewall’s seven programs enhance development from birth through age five. Two out of three children served live below the poverty level. Infant/Toddler Program – Early childhood specialists provide educational/therapeutic support to families whose children have special needs. Integrated Developmental Preschool Program – Sewall has received national recognition for this leading-edge model of developmentally appropriate practices for preschoolers. Early Childhood Care and Education Program – We offer one of the few childcare options for families with children who have medically/emotionally complex concerns. Family Outreach Services – Sewall helps families improve parenting skills, network with others who have similar concerns, and access various community resources. Individual Therapy Program – Individual therapy prepares young children for successful outcomes when they enroll in public schools. Developmental Evaluation Clinic – Children receive trans-disciplinary evaluations of their development and recommendations for placement. Head Start Disability Services Program – Sewall classroom consultation to Head Start in order to establish consistent, developmentally appropriate practices
