What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

The Reading Institute

The Reading Institute offers a continuum of trainings. For those who teach children with the most severe dyslexia, an intensive, two-year program is available. Likewise, teachers can attend a concentrated week-long summer training, offered in conjunction with Colorado College. This training addresses the many skills necessary in teaching children with dyslexia to read and in prevention of reading difficulties. Teachers also have the option of attending day-long seminars which address the identification of dyslexia as well as strategies for teaching fluency and comprehension skills to children with dyslexia.
