BRONZE2024

A Song for Life Inc

New York City, NY

Mission

A Song For Lifes mission is to provide a platform for musical artists to combine their artistry with advocacy & to end the perception that violence is a problem that exists in a vacuum. Violence rears its head most in neighborhoods that are underresourced in terms of food, education & finance. Violence and its origins are intersectional. By highlighting & encouraging artists to use their platforms on a variety of fronts, ASFL is mobilizing a mass of artists & organizations to utilize the power of music to combat senseless violence on all fronts, including but not limited to mental health awareness, educational equality, food insecurity poverty, education, and other factors that are all directly linked to the epidemic of violence in communities all over the world.
