What we aim to solve
Fieldmouse Press is committed to expanding the reach and appreciation of the comics arts. Since 2021, Fieldmouse Press has been publishing award-winning books from artists all over the world.
Our programs

SOLRAD
SOLRAD is a nonprofit online literary magazine dedicated to the comics arts. Run completely by a volunteer staff, SOLRAD publishes original content ranging from comics criticism, original comics, essays, interviews, and the promotion of small-press events and releases. The site is a platform for new, underrepresented, and otherwise marginalized creative voices, in addition to commissioning work from well-established cartoonists, critics, journalists, and authors.
Book Publishing
Fieldmouse Press publishes an array of comics and graphic novels representing both established and up-and-coming cartoonists from across the world.

What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
We are passionate about comics and our goal is to advance the medium through the publication of new and underrepresented voices. We believe that comics should be a place for every story and every person.
What are the organization's key strategies for making this happen?
We will continue to publish 4-8 new books a year.
What are the organization's capabilities for doing this?
Since our inception, we have a track record of putting out 4-8 books a year through various crowdfunding campaigns. This has allowed us to bring in the necessary capital to cover initial publication costs. We continue to sell books through our website and at targeted book-selling conventions and events.

We currently have plans for 4 more books to be published in 2024 and are at various stages of readiness with all four.
