Mission
To outreach to the underserved communities of SPA 6 ( Service Planning area 6) of South Los Angeles. To recruit healthcare workers that live in the same communities, to give back. The mission is to encourage health professionals in the community of SPA6 to assist in making the environment where they live a healthy place. We hold food drives, walks, fitness classes, health screening, health education, share health information and environmental hazards and family activities. We participate in activities that will beautify our community, including picking up trash.

Pedometer Challenge
This is an outdoor event with a max of 6 people ....must contact to secure spot( due to pandemic). The person with the most steps in 60 minutes wins $100.00. When participants arrive, we issue each person a pedometer. Participants move their feet to the music for 60 min, by running in place, jumping, walking etc. when the music stops whoever has the most steps win. The purpose is to promote health and wellness is South Los Angeles..... all participants will receive a certificate of participation. Winners will receive an award for the most steps. Money will be issued on the spot in the form of a check, payable through Wells Fargo.
