What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

The global problem of clean water scarcity is alarmingly pervasive, affecting approximately 2.2 billion people worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO). The lack of access to safe drinking water and sanitation facilities leads to the spread of waterborne diseases, causing over 800,000 deaths annually. Inadequate water infrastructure is particularly prevalent in developing countries, where nearly 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions. Practical solutions involve investments in infrastructure, sanitation facilities, and the promotion of water-efficient technologies. Our organization is dedicated to establishing water wells in rural and remote regions, which frequently find themselves at the bottom of government priority lists. In addition, we diligently identify wells in disrepair, recognizing the substantial positive impact that can be achieved through relatively modest investments in their restoration.

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Water for Life

We provide water wells where clean water is not available. We provide either a bore well with hand-pump or we provide solar to power a submersible pump; pumping the water to a tank on a tower and then gravity feeding taps nearby. Lack of clean water for domestic use is the cause of most illness and death around the world. Quality of life is drastically improved with the provision of clean water.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Samaritan Servants strive to share the message of love found in the Gospel with people worldwide. Our comprehensive outreach adopts a holistic approach, aspiring to witness every nation embracing the Lord's invitation with open hands.

We embark on a journey of compassion, taking measured strides to extend acts of kindness to those in dire need. By addressing fundamental necessities such as water, shelter, food, and clothing, we lay the groundwork for positive change. Our commitment extends beyond mere essentials, as we actively engage in supporting individuals and communities through education, fostering business development, and promoting leadership skills. Through our actions and guidance, we aspire to lead by example, aiming to nurture a relationship with Christ. In doing so, we seek to instill hope not only for the present but also for eternity.

We have successfully completed more than 60 water well projects, extending our services to over a dozen countries. Our active initiatives span across diverse regions, including India, Guatemala, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and undisclosed countries in the Middle East. In addition to our impactful well projects, we have initiated and continue to support successful economic development endeavors in three of these nations. In 2023 alone, Samaritan Servants International distributed over $250,000, contributing significantly to our commitment to a significant impact.
