Our programs

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Disaster Response, Preparedness, and Community Development

In each of these areas, we offer resources for preparedness to empower individuals and families. In the case of crisis or natural disaster, we partner with community leaders to bring resources and aid to communities.
After an emergency situation has occurred, we continue to coordinate with local partners in the community to bring sustainable impact in the affected areas. We do this through a community embedded approach, through partnerships with local leaders and organizations.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

United Rescue Alliance seeks to prepare, respond, and transform communities. Our hope is that walking alongside communities will make them more equipped to engage in efficient crisis response to support the long-term recovery of the community.

We do this by preparing individuals and communities to be resilient in times of crisis through practical training and skills. Additionally, the URA team walks alongside communities by responding to crisis and natural disasters. Our response includes working with community leaders to streamline tangible and intangible resources to meet the true needs of the community. Additionally, we engage in the continual transformation of the community by collaborating with community leaders for empowerment. This takes place in the form of supporting social enterprises to spur the local economy and transformational outreaches to support the emotional and spiritual health of the community.

In 2022, United Rescue Alliance facilitated 7 different trainings to ensure that communities were equipped to respond effectively and assist their community in the recovery process.
