What we aim to solve

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

We strive to reduce preventable cat deaths and overpopulation, and end euthanasia of healthy cats in Columbia County Florida.

Our programs

SOURCE: Self-reported by organization

What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?

Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)

We provide trapping and transport assistance, to low-cost spay, neuter and vaccination clinics, for free-roaming community cats in the Fort White area.

Population(s) Served
Adults
Economically disadvantaged people

Fresh Start for Kittens is a program to spay-neuter, vaccinate and microchip kittens born to outdoor cats prior to them being placed into indoor homes by their caregivers. In return, the caregivers agree to foster and socialize the kittens until adoption and to allow us to spay mom to prevent any future litters. This prevents kittens continuing the cycle of reproduction or from entering already overburdened shelters and rescues.
