What we aim to solve
We fight hunger and food insecurity by bringing together food & beverage industry leaders. Together, we can combine resources to better address the concerns of under investment in our communities by developing and distributing high quality, nutritionally advantaged food & beverage products through food banks/pantires.
Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Effort to Address Food Insecurity
Bigger Table brings together food and beverage industry companies to donate time, services, know-how, ingredients, flavors, and skills to develop healthy servings of nutritious, shelf-stable food for area food banks and pantries. These collaborative projects not only deliver a nutritious product to those who need it—it also pioneers a new way for companies and communities to feed the hungry. We have created and donated over 2 million servings to food banks, food pantries, and other organizations that are addressing food insecurity since March 2020.
Food Manufacturing Workforce Development
We have developed an industry-driven and approved Food Manufacturing Workforce Development Curriculum to help people be trained for an entry level position in food manufacturing -- a good job, with good pay and benefits, and a potential future career. We partner with Industry and Training Providers to help create a high quality workforce that is in high demand.

Charting impact
Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.
What is the organization aiming to accomplish?
As of June 2023, Bigger Table and its generous partners and donors had been able to plan, manufacture, and distribute 2 million servings of nutritionally advantaged** food & beverage products through Chicago-are food banks and pantries.
**These products were high in protein, fiber, and emphasized servings of fruits and vegetables while being lower in sodium, added sugar, and fat.
Ramping up our successful model, we aim to conceive, manufacture, and distribute over 1 million servings of food in 2023 alone, and increase the amount we can creat over time to maximize impact.
