THE PURPOSE OF THE GROVELAND ELEMENTARY PTO IS TO PROMOTE, SUPPORT, ENHANCE, AND ADVOCATE FOR THE EDUCATIONAL, SOCIAL AND EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING OF THE GROVELAND ELEMENTARY CHILDREN AT HOME, IN SCHOOL AND IN COMMUNITY.

THE GROVELAND PTO ACHIEVES ITS MISSION THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMMING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING:1. OUR TEACHER ENRICHMENT FUND, WHICH PROVIDES FUNDS TO TEACHERS TO DEVELOP AND EXECUTE ADDITIONAL ENRICHMENT PROGRAMS WITHIN THEIR OWN CLASSROOM CURRICULUMS 2. OUR MUSIC AND FINE ARTS PROGRAM WHICH SUPPORTS OUR MUSIC PROGRAM THROUGH EQUIPMENT PURCHASE AND SPONSORS OUTSIDE SPEAKER AND GUEST PROGRAMS3. OUR FUND THE NEED PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES GRANTS TO THE MINNETONKA SCHOOL DISTRICT. THIS YEAR'S GRANT PROVIDED SUPPORT FOR AN OUTDOOR CLASSROOM. 4. TEACHER AND STAFF APPRECIATION5. COMMUNITY BUILDING EVENTS THAT BENEFIT STUDENTS, FAMILIES AND STAFF
