Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

The ENOUGH Initiative seeks to provide domestic violence prevention and education programs to at least 10 high schools and/or colleges per year. Through these prevention programs we seek to education young adults ages 13-24 the information necessary to avoid abusive relationships and to increase their overall knowledge about domestic violence. We further seek to help victims establish a sense of community and through monthly gatherings and scheduled workshops and retreats help them build the skills necessary to avoid becoming victims again in the future.

We intend to present in at least 10 high schools and/or colleges per year about domestic violence prevention as well as at several community events throughout the year. By holding monthly survivor gatherings and quarterly survivor workshops and/or retreats. The ENOUGH Initiative further shares awareness information on social media outlets, through interviews by local media and through blogs and podcasts.

The ENOUGH Initiative is fully capable of meeting our organizational goals. We have a wide range of volunteers committed to the organizations mission and success from Clinical Social Workers to attorneys to educators to law enforcement officers and everything in between. We are fully committed to reducing the domestic violence rate in the state of Michigan and educating as many young people and helping as many victims become empowered as possible.

Our survey data for 2019 presentations shows a 92% rate of effectiveness at teaching young adults the red flags of abusive relationships. A 92% rate of effectiveness for teaching why victims stay in abusive relationships. Our survey data further showed that 92% of students reported knowing what to do if they saw domestic violence happening after the presentations.
