The Gingerbread House Sanctuary & Rescue A NJ Nonprofit Corporation

Saving Tiny Seniors

aka The Gingerbread House   |   Wharton, NJ   |  https://gingerbreaddogs.org/

Mission

The Gingerbread House is a Pekingese and similar small-breed sanctuary and rescue located in northern New Jersey. We welcome all small-breed pups that need a new home, and we are passionate about saving senior and hospice pups that have special needs due to their age or medical conditions and that would likely be put down if left in a shelter. We partner with local shelters and rescues to take in these special-needs dogs so they are not euthanized. While in our care, we provide for their ongoing veterinary care, medication, food, continence care, and grooming. The Gingerbread House is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and 100% volunteer and foster based. All donations are 100% tax deductible.

Dog Rescue

The Gingerbread House Sanctuary & Rescue is a 501c3 non-profit organization located in New Jersey for Pekingese and similar small-breed dogs. Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Save as many senior and hospice dogs as possible! And provide them with proper rehabilitation, medical care, food, love, and a good home!

Setting up this charity, getting fundraising going, building a foster pool, and getting established with more shelters and rescues to take in dogs.

We are seasoned rescuers so have a good network for making it happen.

Branding, website, social pages, legal and banking processes are complete. Facebook community is established and growing, foster pool is started, and we are affiliated with a dozen or more shelters for pulling including two New Hope Partnerships. We saved approximately 30 dogs in 2020.
