Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Veteran Program
Chayah Ministries provides resources and therapy to military veterans and their families. We provide equine assisted psychotherapy, therapeutic riding, and learning to help individuals heal from acute or complex trauma, especially PTSD. Equine therapy is a highly effective, evidence-based intervention. We also provide counseling and therapy for other mental health issues and help to reconnect families and improve relationships. We also provide groups or families with an intensive weekend, called "The Outpost Experience". This weekend of experiential therapies and other activities promotes healing, trust and personal growth while building a support team and comradery.
Human Trafficking Recovery Program
Chayah Ministries provides care and resources to victims of human trafficking for all ages and all genders. With extensive experience in serving this population both in California and Texas, our team provides the following services: counseling, equine assisted psychotherapy, therapeutic riding and learning, life skills training, tutoring, help with getting a GED and college scholarships, art therapy, and providing temporary emergency shelter for adult victims. We partner with foster care agencies to provide therapy for the foster children as we are a Star Health Provider (NPI - 1164011292)
Foster Care Wrap Around Program
