Accende, aka Mentoring Mission, has a simple goal: good jobs for those who might otherwise fall through the cracks. We have taken a two-track approach - Vocational: AMPLiFI- Aviation Maintenance Technician PipeLine Focused Initiative Jobs in the avionics and aeronautic trade are anticipated to grow 40% over the next twenty years. Industry leaders want employees, and students want a path towards a strong career. Problem Solving: Harvard Business School (HBS) Case Studies We take the curriculum used by the top business school in the world and bring it into the classroom. Students are treated to a master class by volunteer MBAs. Unpacking the case, students help one another understand complex issues and by extension - start seeing how they can solve problems in their community.

AMPLiFI
Jobs in the avionics and aeronautic trade are anticipated to grow 40% over the next twenty years. Industry leaders want employees, and students want a path towards a strong career.
This is why we launched AMPLiFI - Aviation Maintenance Technician PipeLine Focused Initiative. Our country is fortunate to have a deep pool of talented kids, but without the right connections and guidance, many don't reach their full potential. We started Accende to connect students in Title 1 schools with mentors and jobs.
We offer students a powerful combination of mentoring, workshops and programs as well as scholarships, internships and jobs.
Harvard Business School (HBS) Case Studies
We take the curriculum used by the top business school in the world and bring it into the classroom. Standing on the shoulders of Socrates, students are treated to a master class in by volunteer MBAs. Unpacking the case, students help one another understand complex issues and by extension - start seeing how they can solve problems in their community. We're bringing Harvard to the Inner City!
