HELPING PEOPLE IN NEED

It is a well-known fact that poverty is a major problem all around the globe, especially in developing countries, and the situation is particularly dire for children. Shockingly, statistics show that one in four children in developing countries lives in extreme poverty. This means that these children and their families lack access to basic necessities like food, clean water, and healthcare, which most of us take for granted. One example can be taken from India, where a recent UN report estimated that nearly 300 million people still live under the poverty line. This staggering number highlights the pressing need for action to alleviate poverty in the world and improve the living conditions of people.
It's not just developing countries that are affected by poverty. In fact, approximately 15% of the world's population, or 980 million people, live in extreme poverty worldwide. This includes people from all walks of life and in all parts of the world, from rural communities in sub-Saharan A

The Fighting Hunger program aims to address the root causes of hunger and provide sustainable solutions to alleviate the suffering of those who are most vulnerable. According to the World Food Programme, approximately 690 million people around the world suffer from chronic hunger. This figure is exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, which has led to a rise in food insecurity, with an estimated 811 million people facing hunger in 2020. Tragically, hunger is responsible for nearly one-third of all deaths in children under the age of five, highlighting the urgent need to tackle this issue.
Yanapaway's Fighting Hunger program will work on multiple projects to address this issue. The organization will collaborate with local communities to establish sustainable farming practices and provide access to improved seeds, fertilizers, and other necessary resources. We truly recognize that women's empowerment is critical to achieving gender equality and building more inclusive communities worldwide. Women Empowerment Project programs aim to address the pressing issues of gender inequality, lack of access to resources, opportunities, and discrimination faced by women globally. Statistics show that women are often disproportionately affected by poverty, with approximately 70% of the world's poor being women. Additionally, women often face barriers to accessing education and job opportunities, with only 47% of women worldwide being employed. These issues are further compounded for women in underprivileged communities, who often lack the necessary resources and support to overcome these challenges. Yanapaway's Women Empowerment Projects program will work on multiple projects to empower women and address these issues.

Charting impact

Four powerful questions that require reflection about what really matters - results.

Partner with honest and caring local community leaders to provide them with guidance as well resources to bring forth a better life and opportunities to grow for those in need. We're more about teaching people how to fish vs. just giving them a fish.

We have a vast network of eager and like minded volunteers across the globe that are more willing to roll up their sleeves and go to work. We've also created grant proposals where we laid our projects in great detail. We are then using these to request grants from the federal government, foundations, and corporations.
