Self Healing Communities

C4 seeks to curtail violence in the community of Lompoc, CA community by engaging the community, building grassroots leadership, and working together to identify and implement solutions and healing. We will utilize an evidence-based approach called Self-Healing Communities that, in addition to being participatory and asset/strengths-based, builds awareness about Adverse Childhood Experiences and the effects of trauma. Together with the community and system actors, we will identify and implement strategies and projects for creating change.
