The nonprofit is formed for charitable purposes, including the following: a)to educate the public on shared values such as democracy and community and to combat misinformation; b)to facilitate discussion between the public and religious, interfaith, and other entities, to further shared values and shared identities; c)to collaborate with other organizations in facilitating networking and discussion in furtherance of these values; d)to make contributions to other recognized, bona fide charitable organizations; e)to take any other action permissible under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (Code); and f)to conduct any and all lawful activities and perform any and all lawful acts which may be necessary, useful, suitable or proper for the furtherance, accomplishment or attainment of any of the activities described in this Paragraph.

Program 1

Created and launched Mending Division Academy, mendingdivisionacademy.com, a set of six small-group courses to address the main sources of division in churches and communities today. Hosted an October retreat for pastors, academics, and ministry leaders at Denver Seminary, where we brainstormed the creation of J29 Coalition, a network for pastors seeking to address the problems of Christian nationalism and hyper-political polarization in their churches. Published 52 weekly newsletters addressing the problems of misinformation and political extremism.
