Our programs
What are the organization's current programs, how do they measure success, and who do the programs serve?
Crisis/Respite Nursery
General Respite Care - Up to three hours per day per family (both at the center and in-home as needed)
Structured Respite Care - Regularly scheduled care for children with specific medical, developmental, or emotional disabilities that require a higher level of supervision.
Crisis Care - Up to 72 hours as needed to keep children safe during periods of a family emergency
Shelter Care - Emergency care for children who have been removed from their parents by the Division of Child & Family Services (DCFS) due to neglect or abuse.
Community Resource and Referral Services
Visitation Services
Home Visitation Services - Support given in the family home determined by individual needs. Given to families that have experienced, or are at-risk to experience, abuse and neglect.
Parent Education Classes - Group classes and one-on-one education given, as needed.
Children Classes - Group classes and one-on-one education given, as needed.
Supervised Visitation - Supervision for meeting between children in foster care and their non-custodial parent to ensure safety for the children.
Visitation Exchange - Assist with complicated interactions between caregiver and non-custodial parent as to best support the children.
Post-Adoption Respite Care - In-home care for children adopted through the state.
